Zion Christian Church believes the Great Commission is the most important part of the Gospel. Here are outreaches which we support.
- Carrick Food Pantry. Led by Laura Zimmer, Zion provides food to between 65 and 100 qualifying households in Carrick each month.
- Columbia Vision. Alba Ramirez founded this orphanage for girls in Columbia, South America.
- River of Life Ministries. Pastor Mark Simpson's ministry in serving Pastor’s & Leadership Training around the nations.
- The Pittsburgh Network for the Great Commission. Zion joins with other Pittsburgh area churches to encourage one another in missions outreach.
- Wycliffe Associates. Volunteers helping support Bible translation around the world and fulfill Vision 2025.
- Come Alive Ministries. Zion Christian Church supports Hank and Mary Niewola and their Pittsburgh based ministry to the continent of Africa.
- My Redeemer Lives. Marjorie Cramer's publication My Redeemer Lives has been translated into six languages and is being distributed around the world.
- Prison Ministry. Every other month a team of trained volunteers takes the Gospel to inmates at the New County Jail.
- Spanish Translation. Using wireless broadcast and portable earphones, Jonathan is providing Spanish translation for the Sunday morning messages.
